Stronger Together for Tourism & Hospitality Growth: Industry Leaders Convene in Accra

The Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF), in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT), Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), the Ministry of Labour, and the Special Taskforce, successfully hosted a landmark industry event titled “Stronger Together for Tourism & Hospitality Growth.”

Held on 9th April 2026 at the Accra City Hotel, the event brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and professionals across Ghana’s tourism and hospitality value chain. The gathering served as a strategic platform to foster collaboration, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative pathways for sustainable industry growth.

A major highlight of the event was the presence of Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, who delivered an insightful address on the future of tourism in Ghana. Her presentation emphasized the importance of unified efforts, policy alignment, and industry standards in driving national tourism development.
